Before we have this kiddo (if not today, then induced on Friday), we wanted to celebrate Rory’s 5th birthday. Can you believe it? Anyway, what better way than to invite 11 of her closest friends over, pump them up with candy, chocolate, and trinkets, and then send them back home just in time for dinner.
The pinata was a semi-success, as most of the girls got some good hacks in, but only Charis, daughter of a former pro baseball player, really made a dent in it. Rory asked her dad to bring the (candy) rain. Pictures of the ensuing scrum are on the Picasa album. No kids were hurt in the process.
